  MissScarlett: The October 1977 <Chess> included this snippet of a letter from a <G.F. Harris> of Stourbridge:

One shudders to think what mincemeat they would have made out of Carlsen and Caruana.

Jun-09-16  cyclemath: Geoff Harris of Stourbridge (England) died on 27 May 2016, aged 86 years. He hadn't played competitive chess for many years, but in his day he was a very strong player.
