It would seem that before that kibitzer's 'research', he did not trouble himself to actually look at the tournament page to any degree, which would have exposed this brevity to the world.

En passant, three more perfunctory draws were notched in round eight.

Repetition draws are however as always allowed, which is why the statement by <fredthebear> on the mentioned page was correct:

<it's obvious that draw offers are not allowed in this tournament. Expect to see multiple occurrences of "three-time repetition.">
