TheAlchemist: White played a seemingly clever sacrifice, but the refutation on move 25 was simply stunning
Oct-30-23  Brenin: 24 Bd6, instead of the unsound sac Bxh6, would have won the exchange.

25 ... Qa1 was a clever counter, but 25 ... e5 26 Qxe5 Qa1 was even stronger, e.g. 27 Rxa1 Rxa1+ 28 Bf1 Bh3 with mate.

Instead of 32 Ra1, conceding the b-pawn, White could have resisted further with 32 e4, putting pressure on Black's d-pawn.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Me poor tired brain cells (all five of them) ain't working right. After 24.Bd6, can't Black play 24...Qxd6? Must be something obvious, but not seeing it.

  FSR: <An Englishman> 24.Bd6?? Qxd6 looks like 0-1 to me too.
Oct-30-23  Cecco: And after 25. ... e5 isn't there 26. Qxc5+- ?
Oct-30-23  goodevans: <Cecco: And after 25. ... e5 isn't there 26. Qxc5+- ?>

Absolutely, but <...e5> would have come into it a couple of moves latter if White had taken <26.Rxa1>, i.e. <26...Rxa1+ 27.Bf1 e5>.

It's basically the same idea as <Brenin>'s but with a crucial change of move order. White still has <28.Qxc5> but now <28...Bh3> forces the Q to commit suicide on c8 to avoid the mate.

25...Qa1 is a wonderful move, answering one Q fork with a more powerful one.

  eternaloptimist: <An Englishman> lol 😀
Nov-01-23  Topalogy: Also, after 32. e4, black can exchange all rooks with 32. ...Rc1. And white will have no chance at all after that.

To be honest, it's kinda impressive how wrong Brenin's comment is. I actually thought he is trying to fool ppl and waste their time with nonsense comments when I saw the comment lol.

perfidious: <Brenin> apparently erred in his post; he is actually quite a competent player, and not one to post a 'nonsense comment'.
