David Levy in his book on The Dragon (1972) following a suggestion by Ray Keene and Dave Goodman (6...Qb6 page 173 1st edition) got to the diagram and looked at White only playing 9.Bf4 here adding after 9...Bg7 White's position is liable to crack at any moment and slower positional plans seem harmless.

After 9.Ndb5, as in the game, it is Black who is in trouble.

Fair enough, David Levy does say this suggestion was added after the analyse on the Levenfish had been completed and on the whole it is a good book.
However he went one note too far when adding; 'It is amazing that despite more than thirty years of tournament experience the Levenfish has never had to meet 6...Qb6 in a master game." (this game is a clue.)

I wonder if Black, all in good faith, followed the 6...Qb6 idea and came a cropper.
