25.f4? Ne4!

29...Neg3+?

Instead 29...Nxd2! wins

(29...Nxd2 30.Qxd2?? Qg1#)

(29...Nxd2 30.Re3 Nxb1 31.Qxb1 Rad8 32.Qd1 d2 ∓)

30.Rxg3?

Black did not need to sacrifice his rook. Simply playing 30.Kh2 would have been satisfactory.

41...Bc5?

Black almost blows it. The correct finish is 41...Bc4+

White still may have been able to eke out a draw with 42.Rxc5

Time: White 2 hours 57 minutes; Black 1 hour 5 minutes.

All five games played thus far won by Jacobsen.
