sachistu: Apparently the score given here came from Veliki majstori saha 17 BOGOLJUBOV (by Petrovic, 1977). It is also given in Tony Gillam's book (Berlin 1927 / Bad Homburg 1927). Tony cites Neueste Schachnachrichten 1927, p.399-400. The notes in NSn were by Bogoljubov.

However, I believe the score is not correct, and is another case of an error being propagated to other sources.

The score becomes really questionable on move 24 (24...a5?). Why would Black not play 24...fxg5 when it appears White has no compensation for the piece.

The error seems to be on move 17 (17...Bg7). The actual move was probably 17...Be7 when the next few moves follow the score. On the 22nd move, instead of 22.Rb8+, White played 22.Bh6 and after 22...Bf8 then 23.Rb8+ Ke7 as in the score given here. Now the double exclam given to Bg5!! makes sense as ...fxg5 fails to Ne5!

So the score should be 17...Be7 18.c5 Bxc2 19.Qxc2 Nd5 20.Rb3 Qd7 21.Rfb1 Qc6 22.Bh6 Bf8 23.Rb8+ Ke7 24.Bg5 Rxb8 25.Rxb8 a5 26.Ne5 Qa6 27.Qa4 c6 18.Nxc6+.

I realize this implies there were two mistakes in the original score in NSn, but I do have confirmation in the Yugoslav magazine Sahovski Glasnik, 1927 Issue 11 (June 27) p.112-113. This score certainly seems more plausible than the one that came from Neueste Schnachnachrichten, and was apparently copied in the Petrovic book.

Your analysis and conclusions are convincing.
The score you suggested as the original is corresponding to the score from "Internet Chessbase":
