Aug-20-19  patzer2: Hard fought game with both sides trading strong advantages, with winning and lost positions, throughout the entire game.

Black missed a number of wins late in the game. One in particular is 42...Qb2+ 43. Kh2 Ng4! 44. Bxg4 hxg4+ 45. Kxg4 Qe2+ -+ which wins a Rook with an easy win in sight.

Aug-21-19  patzer2: <comier> Thanks for the analysis highlighting the English Opening move alternative 4. Nf3.

According to our Opening Explorer, both 4. Nf3 and 4. d4 have scored well for White.

A couple of examples of play with 4. Nf3 are the White win in E Inarkiev vs Bologan, 2017 and the draw in Caruana vs Harikrishna, 2019.
