Nov-03-17  Marmot PFL: Interesting game of the 2nd and 3rd highest rated players. Don't know if 16...b5!? was good or not but black seems to have good play until 23 f5, when the game turns steadily toward white until the black king is almost mated.
Nov-03-17  Marmot PFL: 26...gf5 badly weakens the king side, either Bb7 or c3 looks like a better try.

maxi: Perhaps somebody sees a justification for 16...b5, I don't. Please explain.
Nov-03-17  Nerwal: 22... ♕c6 is a curious choice given that it's met by 23. f5 and 22.... ♗g4 was the normal answer to e4.
Nov-11-17  Saniyat24: 39.Rd8 was a beautiful move by Aronian...he could have checked the black king with 40.Rg8+ in the next move...then the only place the black king could go was h6...then 41.Rh4 would have been # Checkmate...
