sackman: 13 ... Qe1!! a bolt from the blue one suspects. Very imaginative play from black.

An Englishman: Good Evening: White played the TN here (first appearance of 10.0-0-0 in the database), so the fact that Black found such a counter OTB makes his achievement even more impressive. If White can't find an improvement on 13.Nd4, then 11.Be1 might become forced.

HeMateMe: Exciting work from Tomashevsky, swapping the Queen for pieces.

Why does black allow 11...Nxf2, which seems to ignite the fireworks? the pawn could have been defended.

Oct-31-16  yesnomaybeidontknow: Fantastic game from Tomashevsky!!

Dionysius1: Hi <HeMateMe>. I guess because he thought he had a more important move to make than 11 f3. 11 Re1 must have looked better, with the (cheap?) discovered attack on the queen to come. How wrong he was! Oops - am I stating the obvious?

38. Qe4 seems to choke the WK.

I wonder what happens after 38. Qc6. Rxg3 seems not useful now because the WK has e4 to escape.

Dec-21-16  fispok: After 14..cxd4, it seems like white would be better after qxf2, scooping up the loose knight.
