Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-27-16  Bruce Graham: Nice finish.
Aug-27-16  Mr. V: Dima is all about the space advantage.
Aug-27-16  fisayo123: 22.♗d5!! was also possible, apparently, with the same idea of h6.
Aug-29-16  patzer2: Interesting game, especially with the gambit pawn offer 10. g4!?

According to the chessgames.com opening explorer, this variation has only been played twice previously. Andreiken, playing White here, was on the Black side of this opening sequence in Ganguly vs D Andreikin, 2015.

The computers seem to think they can get away with taking the gambit pawn with 10...Nxg4 11. Rg1 Nf6 12. exd5 = (0.19 @ 20 depth, Deep Fritz 15). However, White gets a dangerous initiative and more than enough compensation for the pawn sacrifice.

Aug-29-16  patzer2: <fisayo123>'s suggestion 22. Bxd5!! appears to be even stronger than 22. h6!

Playing it out move by move with Deep Fritz 15 shows White winning easily after 22. Bxd5!! exd5 23. h6 Re6 24. hxg7+ Kg8 25. Bg5 Rg6 26. Qh3 Rxg7 27. Bf6 (+7.45 @ 19 depth, Stockfish 090515).
