Apr-26-15  Bettler: A typical Kasparov mating attack. Super!
Apr-26-15  boz: He can still play.
Apr-27-15  Jambow: Maybe the person who has the best chances verses Magnus just played?

PawnSac: in a long match I think magnus would have the greater stamina, but GK at his peak vs. Magnus now I think GK would best him. Garry's opening knowledge is deeper than Magnus' and in his day G would get the advantage out of the opening in the greater number of games. But alas, this is just one of those hypothetical impossibilities. Besides, I'm quite certain Garry does not want to work that hard any more. He held the reigns for quite a long run, and has nothing to prove. He is enjoying his retirement.
Jun-01-15  Jambow: <PawnSac> Agreed whole heartedly only an observation but our assessment is virtually identical.
