Sally Simpson: Some other lad submitted this one. This 15-20 board simul was v a school and I faced this trap on every board where I played Nf3 and Bc4.

I fell into it on purpose in most games, others I just castled.

The interesting line is the White piece sac after 4...Qg5

5. O-O! Qxe5 6. c3

That leads to a good fun game.

  Sally Simpson: Just remembered this.

That Knight sac on e5 may not be all that good.

I nearly came unstuck here.

Sally Simpson: A while back RHP re-disgned their site and all the links were broken.

This one works instead of the above one. 'Nezhmetdinov and the Hungarians.' (don't worry I'm not giving the Qxf6 game.)

Normally I leave them but as I've mentioned it I thought I had better repair it.

Quick name. 10 famous Hungarians! (I did!)

FSR: 5...Kd8! is much better and favors Black. But no one plays it! White still has nothing better than sacking a piece with 6.O-O, since 6.Ng4 Nh6! is good for Black. After 5...Ke7? 6.O-O! White has more than enough for the piece, as <Sally Simpson> demonstrated.
