Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-25-13  madlydeeply: My first thought is why not 12... Nxe4. I suppose there is a lovely counterattack in the works based upon 13. Qe3 followed by Bc2, which may feature a dxe4 attack on f6 N and a7 B. back to work!
Sep-25-13  madlydeeply: 12. Qd3, rather
Sep-25-13  holland oats: 12...Nxe4 13.Qd3 runs into Bf5. I was looking at 13.Re1 Be6 and found some cool tricks for white e.g. 14.Bc1 f5 and PUZZLE TIME white to play:

Sep-25-13  Marmot PFL: 12...Nxe4 might be the best move.

12...Nxe4
13. Re1 Nf6 (looks safer than 13...Be6 as it cuts out discovered attacks on Ne4) 14. Nxf6+ Qxf6
15. dxe5 dxe5
16. Bxa7 Nxa7
17. Nxe5 Nc6
and looks about = but outside of getting the pawn back I don't see much else for white.

Sep-25-13  ambongtumbong: I can only assume that GM may said again that he lost to a coffee house chess player. lol
