Jan-23-13  Rrrto2005: Wow, nice game, Hou!
Jan-23-13  beenthere240: The engines opined that Hou could have gained a winning advantage on move 34 (not that she wasn't already winning). Anyone know what it was?

  tamar: 34...Rh8! 35 Rxd6 Rh2 36 Kc2 g3 would have won more quickly.
Jan-23-13  SirRuthless: Yea she had about 3 minutes on the clock though so i won't get on her for that. She played very good chess in several games this tourney. She let a few get away earlier so this win was due and against a 2700 clubber, no less. Very nice showing for her.
Jan-23-13  Kikoman: Bravo Yifan Hou! ^^
Jan-23-13  chesssalamander: Nice win Yifan Hou!

Jan-23-13  SuperPatzer77: Please tip our hats off to Yifan Hou!! <Hou is much better than Houdini the chess computer> - (Hou without dini). LOL

What a nice game by Hou (not Houdini).

She's been learning tough lessons from the strong GM's. She's entered the Tata Steel tourney for her first time. Bravo, Yifan Hou!!!

Jan-24-13  stst: Hou breaks the curse, 2nd time by now!!
If she can score against anyone of the top 10, the she deserves a seat for everyone tourney for the highest.
Jan-24-13  weisyschwarz: Impressive turnaround for the young Chinese lady. In the end Harikrishna melted like wax.
