Jan-17-13  Illogic: What a mess! I guess Sokolov missed Ba6.
Jan-17-13  lost in space: ...and not 24...Rxd5?? 25. Nf6+

Jan-17-13  lost in space: Well, I saw Ba6 coming when just rushing through the game in one or two minutes (latest after a5 it is sooooo obvious that Ba6 is cplaned) I think a a GM has no problems at all to see it.
Jan-17-13  dehanne: 15.h3 is a blunder.
Jan-17-13  sofouuk: 15.h3 was inaccurate, 16.Bg5? was a clear mistake, and 17.dxe6??, which ensured that white would lose a piece rather than the exchange, was a blunder. <maybe> sokolov somehow failed to realise that after 17...Ba6 18.e7+ just trades queens and leaves white with a piece en prise on g5 and the exchange en prise on f1, but well, who knows. not a game to be proud of, anyway
Jan-25-13  Rama: This is the game following Aronian's spectacular loss to Anand in round 4. He was out for blood! Bravo!
