Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-30-11  bronkenstein: Instead of winning on the spot with simple 28.Rd4 , Sasi , for reasons known only to him and his psychotherapist , goes 28.Bf2?? and draws.
Oct-30-11  anandrulez: Ah , so Sasi was winning here . Lets see how Anand plays Mamedyarov . There is thing that players tend to play weaker vs high rated opponents .
Oct-30-11  bronkenstein: It was second (and last) rapid game , first being drawn . So Sasi wouldnt only win the game, but the whole match eliminating Vishy . Instead he drew it and went to lose the blitz tiebreak 0:2 . Bit more details @ http://www.whychess.org/node/2691 , by polarmis (I found the original info I posted on Russian federation site, they have put the (blunder) position as the game of the day diagram =).
Oct-30-11  anandrulez: Thanks for the link , it would have been a surprising win!
