Sep-11-11  Strongest Force: Get em chucky
Sep-11-11  kellmano: An interesing position. Imbalanced. I prefer black.
Sep-11-11  mslr45: Now white is better
Sep-11-11  whiteshark: the exchange sac was worth it. With an open position in front of the white king the ♗ isn't worse at all.
Sep-11-11  Resignation Trap: I disagree. I think White is winning.
Sep-11-11  mslr45: chucky know that how to use time

Sep-11-11  waustad: Time control is posted right next to the board.
Sep-11-11  Resignation Trap: Tablebase anyone?
Sep-11-11  leprechaunz: are they waiting for a miracle? its draw
Sep-11-11  mslr45: this is not a victory for a blitz game
Sep-11-11  leprechaunz: pls dont waste my time here, another game pls
Sep-11-11  Strongest Force: Mate in 911 moves
Sep-11-11  leprechaunz: i thought these people are smart, they dont know what is a draw and what is not. there is no pride here if you win with a blunder
Sep-11-11  Xenon Oxide: <leprechaunz: are they waiting for a miracle? its draw>

But since white has 0 chance of losing, he might as well press on for a potential swindle :-P

Sep-11-11  Xenon Oxide: <leprechaunz: i thought these people are smart, they dont know what is a draw and what is not. there is no pride here if you win with a blunder>

Who cares when a shot at the World Championship is at stake ;)

Penguincw: Really nice effort by Ivanchuk to save the game. Being down the exchange can be a hard one to save. However, after getting the pawns off the board (reducing the superior side's chances of winning) and going into the right coloured square corner, there was going to be no win. The best he can hope for is a draw and he got it.
