Phony Benoni: According to "Chess Review" (October 1937, p. 233), White lost by oversteping the time limit.
Aug-10-20  Granny O Doul: 32...Rxb2 would likely have induced White's surrender, but probably the time trouble was mutual.

Exhibition game; could it have been "Living Chess"? 𝑍𝑒𝑖𝑡𝑛𝑜𝑡 can really wreak havoc there.

Telemus: <Granny: but probably the time trouble was mutual> De Telegraaf, 6 Sep 1937 reports that Euwe had one and a half hour time advantage at the end. Morever, the time limit was 16 moves per hour. So, Euwe was not in time trouble at his 32th move.

<PB> Dutch newspaters confirm that Flohr overstepped the time limit.
