Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-19-11  Skakalec: I think black blundered in the won position. 35...Nd7 must be super bad move, but I don't like 33...Rb1 either. I think 33...Ra1! was clearly better then Rb1. Black admits that there is nothing on the second rank and on g2 and plays THAT rook on the first rank. After 34.Rf3 I would play Qa7! and everything is covered, black is ready for a-pawn march and if white moves the knight after exchanging 1 pair of rooks, white is no longer dangerous as for her back rank weaknesses.

Another possibility is 33...Re2

Apr-19-11  Hovik2009: if the game score is correct which I doubt it, I have never seen so many blunders in a row by a player who has obvious advantage, blunderfest started by 34...Qd4??, any club player like me could see that 34...Qxe1!! with the threat of Qxg1++ wins simply, because 35.Rxe1 Rxe1+ 36.Rf1 Rxf1 mate!

but anyway I am happy for Tatev to win this odd game

Apr-20-11  carl giraffe: Even earlier it also looks like 32...Rb1 is winning because the g1 rook is stuck guarding the g2 square. White looks busted after
32...Rb1
33.Qg5 Rxg1+
34.Nxg1 Rxa2
35.Qg3 Qf1
with the threat of 36...Ra1 and Qxg1 mate. So white will have to scramble to trade Qs and go into a knight and rook endgame down 2 pawns.
