Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-01-11  Rob Morrison: Ah, poor Kindermann wasn't too happy about this game. He had a clear edge after 22. b4 but then later gummed things up and lost.

It looks like he would have won if he had played 34. Rxc8 (threatening my knight) instead of 34. Bxc8. On 34. Rxc8 Nf6 35. f3 Rb2+ 36. Bg2 Rxa2 37. Bb8 Ra6 38. Rd8 picks up my d-pawn and should win. I can't see anything better for black.

But when I played 37. . . e4 I knew I was back in the game. My 45. . . Nxd2 was simplest. A better player than I might have chosen to go for the kill with 45. . . f6 intending 46. . . g5.

A word on my 7. . . Be6. According to this site it's a TN (no one else has played it). I'd think the best reply for white would be 8. b3, keeping black's bishop out of c4, though after 8. . . Qc8 black's position looks playable.

Nov-01-11  lost in space: Indeed, 34. Rc8 and black is doomed.
