Sep-09-10  ReikiMaster: 10.e5 looks good. 17..Rf8 & f5 looks ok. 24..Rfe8 is interesting. Now Re7 gets trapped amusingly.
Sep-09-10  Robed.Bishop: Is this correct? 4...Bc8 instead of 4...Bxd1?
Sep-09-10  sneaky pete: <Robed.Bishop> 4.Ng1 Bc8 is absolutely correct. It's the Giggle Variation that has always been quite popular with young girls.
Sep-09-10  Robed.Bishop: Well that explains it. I'm not playing enough chess against young girls.
Sep-10-10  rapidcitychess: This is ridiculous. There must be an error somewhere.
May-15-11  TheTamale: If 4)... Bxd1, the game transposes into the Queen Sacrifice Opening.
Jan-13-12  smitha1: My guess is that Black was in time trouble after the first three moves, and sneakily retreated the Bishop hoping for White to repeat the position, which she then naively did. Young girls are so cunning!
Jan-13-12  master of defence: What´s wrong after 4...Bxd1? White don´t have a good attack in the black king, and black can win because she has a queen vs bishop.
Jan-13-12  King Death: White played 6.h3 because her weaker opponent was obviously ready to take the draw by repetition and not play 6.Ng1 Bd1. This was very cunning.
Jun-04-12  Abdel Irada: With 4. ♘g1!, White initiates the hypersubtle Queen Gambit Variation, permitting her to avoid bringing out her queen prematurely by offering it as a gambit. Black, however, wisely declines the offer, compelling White to exchange on f3 and expose her queen to harassment culminating in its exchange on g3, with a doubling of White's pawns that might have led to disaster had her opponent not been so chuffed by her success in forcing the queen into play that she promptly ceased to pay any attention to the game.
Mar-27-13  ekanth: am late on this..but r u guys telling that there s a variation with queen sac on 4th move...pl tel me this s a joke n there must b something wrong in the game noting down

perfidious: Another way to finish matters (whatever one makes of the opening) was 39.Rxg7+ Nxg7 40.h6.

Penguincw: < Sorry, there are no games similar to this one in the database. >

Darn it. Despite how low quality this game is, I personally find it more entertaining than torturous.

FTR: 4.Ng1 is obviously the novelty here.

louispaulsen88888888: Perhaps white touched the knight and had to move it.black decided to be generous and repeat the position. That’s my guess.
Oct-01-20  schnarre: 4...Bc8? *sighs* Perhaps this was Black being forgiving of White's 4. Ng1?!

perfidious: Black did not want to cooperate in an utter rout of her opponent.
