Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-26-09  hedgeh0g: Huge blunder by a 2650 player. How can you play the Sicilian at that level and not be aware of the Na4/Nc4 and Bb6 tricks?
Nov-26-09  notyetagm: Looks like Fedorchuk made the <COMMON MISTAKE> of seeing one threat (11 ♘c4-d6+) but not all the threats (11 ♗e3-b6).
Nov-26-09  notyetagm: How come my 1900 opponents never seem to play as badly as these 2600s? :-)
Nov-26-09  notyetagm: Game Collection: COMMON MISTAKE: seeing only one threat of many 11 Nd2-c4 d7-d5?? meets threat to d6-square but not to b6-square
Nov-27-09  WhiteRook48: what's the saving move??
Nov-28-09  Stanley Yee: It is lost after 10...d5?? I guess 10...Qc7 prolongs the agony. Really, 9...Nge7 trying to play the pure Taimanov was the first mistake, as 9...d5 was required to control the c4 square.
