Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-31-08  luzhin: Quite a pretty finish: if 41..Kh6 42.Rh3 mate; if 41..Kxg4 42.Rg3+; and if 41..Kh4 42.Bxg5+ Qxg5 43.Qxh7+ Kxg4 44.Qh3 mate!

GIAaron: 13...f5! This strong move makes the line very playable for Black.

21..g5? Instead 21..Be6 with equal chances for both sides.Sometimes the obvious move is the best move.

  Domdaniel: White's 25.c5!? would have been even more effective a little earlier: 24.c5! Nxc5 25.Nb6 Rb8 26.Bc4+ Be6 27.Rxd6! is one possibility. If then 27...Qxd6 Black is in ruins after 28.Qxg5+ Kf7 29.Bxe5 Qxe5 30.Rxf5+
