Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-07-08  Everett: 57...Kf7 58.Qf6+ Kg8 59.Bh6 threatening mate on both g7 and f8.
Nov-17-08  freeman8201: Yaz is the only the top player that plays Bd3 in King's Indian setups
Mar-25-09  Everett: <freeman8201> I wish I could agree with you that he is a top player.
Mar-25-09  asianmonkey147: i disagree. Yaz is a very dangerous player.
Mar-29-09  whiteshark: There is beauty within this game, partly due to geometrical manoeuvres.
Mar-30-09  Everett: <asianmonkey147> I really appreciate Seirawan; his chess, his style, his manner, good will and willingness to share it with others. I also agree with you that he is a dangerous player, especially in the 80's, but to the degree that all GMs are dangerous, so is Seirawan, no more than this. Few would describe him as a "top" GM, and I am not one of those few.

Still, he is a favorite player of mine, and I enjoy the Bd3 line.

Jun-10-10  Everett: Just realized 53..Be6 is a losing blunder, though it seems black will run out of moves soon. I don't think much can be done with those Q-side pawns without them dropping.
