Mateo: When a IGM plays against an amateur, there is often a moment when the amateur blunders. You just have to wait for his self-destruction.

32...Nxa4?? was the expected blunder. After 33.Qd2, double attack. Then 33...Nxc1 34.Rxd7:

34...Qe8 loses on 34.Rgg7.

If 34...Qb4 (or 34...Qa3) 35.Rxh7+! Kxh7 36.Qd7+ followed by mate in two.

Nov-26-07  Riverbeast: Too bad, because up until that blunder Aderito had been playing a fine game against the Chucky monster...what's wrong with the simple 32...Bxa4 ?
Nov-26-07  Riverbeast: For example, 32...Bxa4 33. Bg4 Bd7 34. Rgd1 Rc7 black looks okay...

Mateo (if you're the same Mateo I think you are), I know you're a 'maestro mas grande', help us out here...

Nov-26-07  Eyal: <Riverbeast: For example, 32...Bxa4 33. Bg4 Bd7 34. Rgd1 Rc7 black looks okay...>

34.Qd4! is stronger for White in this line: 34...Rcd8 35.Rd1 or 34...Rc7 35.Qb6, with a very big advantage; or 33...Rc6 34.Qa3. So it seems that 31...c4 was already a mistake by Black, at the very least dropping a pawn.
