May-28-06  Ragh: Geez!

Can't believe, the top two juniors in the world are playing like amateurs in this game.

May-28-06  Ragh: Oh I see it now, these two were only 10 years old then. They were participating in the World under-10 championships that was ultimately clinched by Harikrishna.
May-28-06  ahmadov: <Ragh> <Can't believe, the top two juniors in the world are playing like amateurs in this game.> Yes, but I guess you do not play like they did in the age of 10 ;).
May-28-06  Ragh: <ahmad> I could have easily beat both of them then. I didn't get a chance though.

May-28-06  Whitehat1963: Say what you like about them being young, but I love the combination Harikrishna pulls off after Radja's 20...Nd7. It's a neat little puzzle. What's the right defense?

nasmichael: The progress of two strong players is worthwhile to observe and have recorded. Young players can look up to these combatants, and be inspired. It's funny that the word "amateur" is thrown out as if it were a negative attribute. The word means "one who loves" a thing. Of course they play like that. You do too, if you love the game. Professionals play the game like amateurs who have practiced a lot!
May-10-07  Amorim: great game!
