Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-12-05  TheFrench: I'm having some trouble understanding the purpose of 24.h4. So far I've narrowed it to 3 possible reasons :

1-To lose tempo;
2-To create a target for Black;
3-To restrict the mobility of own rook (and Queen!)

Even 23.Rg4 seems hard to justify without resorting to the aforementioned motives. But here there might also have been :

4-The intention of subjecting own Knight and Rook to a double attack; 5-Or to concede voluntary the e-file.

Anyone knows ?
