Feb-05-05  azaris: Textbook demolition of the French kingside. Black actually had some drawing chances before the awful blunder 27...Qf4??.
May-16-05  notyetagm: This game just finished 6th with 30 points in the recent voting for the Best Chess Game in Chess Informant 91, getting LarryC's 10-point vote (i.e., LarryC thought it was the best game in the Informant).
Apr-18-06  notyetagm: 23 ♗c4! threatens to <REMOVE THE GUARD> by capturing the Black f7-pawn with 24 ♗xf7!, the pawn chain base that prevents a crushing breakthrough against the g6-square.
Oct-07-10  sevenseaman: This game ought to have made more waves than it looks it has.
Apr-30-19  PJs Studio: Sutovsky knows how to use the heavy pieces eh? 🙄✅

Honza Cervenka: 23...Qxh4 was a suicide. On the other hand, 21.f4! avoiding e6-e5-e4 was more precise. 21.Rg3 gave black a chance to survive. Awesome game by Sutovsky.

  plang: 11..Be7 was new; 11..g6 and 11..e5 had been played previously. 14..h6 would have been an improvement though after 15 Nf3 White would have had good attacking prospects. White would also have had a strong attack after 17..g6 18 h5..Bxh1 19 Rxh1..Nxf6 20 hxg+..Kg8 21 f4!..Qxf4 22 gxf..Qxf6 23 gxf+..Rxf7 24 Qg2+..Rg7 25 Qxa8+..Qf8 26 Qe4.

<azaris: Textbook demolition of the French kingside. Black actually had some drawing chances before the awful blunder 27...Qf4??.>

Hard to see how Black could have saved the game after 23..Qxh4?. Don't see how 27..Qf4 is a blunder - what better move did he have?
