Dec-29-04  like a GM: Wouldn't Na7 solve the problem? And if white Bd4 to get rid of the knight, then Ne7 (after the exchange because Qf6 would win)

  tpstar: 32 ... Na7 33. Bd6 Removes the Defender from f7 (33 ... Ra8 34. Qxf7+ Kh8 35. Be5+ mates) or else loses a whole Rook after 33 ... Kg7 34. Bxf8+ Kxf8 35. c8=Q+. 32 ... Nxc7 33. Bxc7 & 34. Bd6 is the same difference.
Dec-29-04  cade: Good win for McShane, his position looked rather shaky at points in this game.
Dec-29-04  Snow Man: 19. ...Bxb2?? sehr schlecht.
Dec-30-04  gambeteer: 22. ... Ra4 is a worthless move. Why not simply cxb4 or even better c4 to dislodge the pawn on e4 and getting control of d5 and f5 for the knight
