Honza Cervenka: Alexander Chernin was 8 years old in 1968 and he definitely did not played this game, despite of the fact that this game is attributed to him in many major databases. After a little bit of googling I have found out that the event was a match of Masters vs Candidates to Master and that one of those Candidates participating there was some I. Chernin (full name I did not find).

The table of event as well as a file with a few preserved games (16 of total 98) is available at http://www.geocities.com/al2055mag/...

perfidious: Most unfortunate that the link provided by <Honza> no longer works, but I will submit a correction slip.

Black's sixth move is far less testing than the standard 6....Nfd7, after which 7.h4, as played in Nakamura vs Smirin, 2005, leads to a double-edged struggle, with 7.Bc4 a sharp alternative.
