Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-16-05  Knight13: 11... Kf8 looks like a safe move for Black's king, just like castling. If Black castles, then White can play Bh6 eventually and attack the king, which is pretty open and Bad for Black. Black needs to keep the rook on the h-file. Good move.

19... Kxe7?? is met by Bc5+!

28... gxf5 29. Re7+ Kg6 28. Qg7# or 29... Kh6 30. Qxh8+ (I calculated few more moves ahead but I don't see a mate. But Black's game sure looks terrible.)

Good game.

Nov-01-05  lopium: I like this game, Tarrasch seems a machine.
Jan-25-23  tbontb: Tarrasch methodically develops his pieces to attack the misplaced Black K. After 14....dxe5 (better ....Ne4) there seems to be no way back.
