wwall: Persinger taught the violin to Yehudi Menuhin and Isaac Stern. He may have been master strength. He played in the 1944 US chess championship. Oistrakh was also a world class violinist and a chess master.

Instead of 30.Nd6?! and weakening his pawn structure, perhaps 30.Na3 or 30.Rc1.

Instead of 34.exf4, perhaps better is 34.Rg1+, aiming for 35.Rg4. If 34...Rg7, then 35.Rxg7+ Kxg7 36.exf4.

Instead of 35.Rg2, perhaps 35.Kg1 so that he can play Rg2 if 35...Rg7+. If 35.Kg1 Rxh3 36.Bc5 and the opposite colored bishops may draw.

37.Be1? looks bad, which allows 37...Bf1. Perhaps 37.d7 Rxd7 38.Rg2+ and 39.Rag1.

38.Kh1?? leads to mate. White could try 38.Bg2, but after 38...e2 39.d7 Rxd7, threatening 40...Rxd4, Black wins.

Jun-19-20  sea7kenp: <wwall>, I believe you are right: I saw the immediate loss of White's Rook but, with with the Black Bishop and ambitious Pawn, I think the Game is about over.
