Mar-30-04  Green Bishop: Things does not looked well for Menchik but I think this was a premature resigning.
Apr-02-04  Kenkaku: <Green Bishop> I was originally inclined to disagree, but it appears that black can save further pawn loss. 21...Rc7 22. Rec1 Rc8 and black is fine save for being down a pawn.
Apr-02-04  Green Bishop: Eight years later (Margate, 1939) Menchik was defeated again by Flohr and she had a better position at the end. (See Honza's analysis)

Phony Benoni: <American Chess Bulletin>, February 1932, p. 38, gives White's Whit's 20th moves as <20.Rfc1>, not 20.Rfe1. That seems more natural and leads to the immediate win of the c-pawn

However, even after the suggested line <20.Rfe1 Qe6 22.Nd2 Rc7 Rc722.Rec1 Rc8> White simply playws <23.Rc3> and wins the pawn after doubling rooks on the c-file.
