Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-25-04  Gbness: Heh, D Fuller threatens not only Black's rook and bishop, but the pawn on f7... very quick defeat for Horton!

FSR: I wouldn't have resigned just yet: after 10...Qf6 11.Qxa8 Bxb2 Black gets close to material equality. But maybe 11.f4!? Bxb2 12.e5! is a clean win.
Dec-24-12  rannewman: In your line, isn't black just a piece down after 12.Q:c8+?

FSR: <rannewman> Duh. Of course, you are correct.
Dec-24-12  Jim Bartle: A little less eggnog, FSR?
Dec-24-12  fokers13: Ne7 is the best continuation exactly for thar reason but seeing as the Q can just take on a5 sooner or later the position does seem hopeless.
