interestingly, Capa played many games in proto-old indian setups, and according to Reinfeld, was one of the pioneers for this system of defense.

Apr-21-09  Phony Benoni: Perhaps it's just a coincidence, but this is the first game Capablanca played with Black after the famous debacle Lilienthal vs Capablanca, 1935. Could he have been a bit hesitant about playing another Nimzo-Indian?
