Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-23-04  InspiredByMorphy: Its too bad White commited such a silly
sacrifice as it I was hoping to see the merit of blacks development on the King side. White is obviously not the most patient of opponents. I think blacks play is stable for the most part...Anybody else have a second opinion about this game? Is black at least equal in the moves prior to the sacrifice by white? I know he has no advantage, but I dont really see a disadvantage besides the semi-exposed king either. Who knows, maybe that semi-advantage would have been enough to win without the sac and some patience. Im still rooting for black though. Any second opinions would be appreciated.
Jan-23-04  clendenon: i dont think it was a sacrifice. i thiunk it was a mistake. maybe he thought black wud play qxq. he also lost the exchanege. so he was down a whole rook.
