Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-29-14  Ke2: The winning plan is Ne6, Ng5, Nf7#.
Dec-29-18  Ychromosome: Also, 42. Ne6 Ne5 43. Ng5 h6 44. Qxe5 hxg5 45. Qxg5 is mate in 3.
Jun-22-23  tinnderbox: Oof, from move 35 onwards this game is riddled with errors. 35... Rc2?? (instead after Qc2 white is just a bit better). Now that the rook has left the e-file white wins by 36.Re3 h6 37. Re6 But 36. Rg4?? Qa2?? Black had a draw here with 36... Rfxf2! 37. Rxf2 (no Rxc4 obviously because Rxg2+ mates) Rc1.
37. Qd4?? Again misses a win, this time Re1 was the way. 37... Rd2?? Now black should have played Qb2 to prevent Qe5. 38. Qe3?? White misses Qe5, and now after 38. Qe5 Re2 39. Qb8 wins the knight. 38... Nc4?? Now with the queen on e3 Re2 would have been a good defense. But after this fourth serious mistake in a row by black white finally seizes his chance.
