  Honza Cervenka: This game doesn't make good sense. I guess that the gamescore is not correct and that white played 21.Rxf1 instead of 21.Rd1.
Apr-28-04  notsodeepthought: I hope you are right, otherwise I have to wonder why white (and black!) ignored the f1 bishop for eight moves. Even the final position would not be lost for black with the extra bishop after, for example, a queen exchange (there may be better alternatives for black).
Apr-29-04  Resignation Trap: I have a book about Tolush (in Russian). This is game #78 on page 120. It gives 21. Rxf1 as White's move. I believe that 21. Rd1 is simply a typo that has been copied from one source to another.

Nov-22-15  zydeco: It's not like Tolush to pocket a pawn and play defense, so 8.b4! and 9.e6! and it's white who gets to have all the fun.
