Kibitzer's Corner
May-20-07  granyid: Ijust wonder about the game of Abram Khazim and Michael Tal, Mr Khazim could preserve his b3 pawn by moving Nd2 in 24th move not h3 leaving pawn in b3.I look everywhere if looking for superior in endgame pieces Night is strong against Bishop but it depends, perhaps it is true that Michael uses his stare mesmerizing Mr. Khazim in the board, this game not worthy and very rediculous as grandmasters have blunders that even a beginners can percieved in the board.
Nov-18-23  jerseybob: I guess players enter the queenless endgame to avoid the heavy K.I.D. theory, but the trade-off is those lonely pawns on c4 and e4 stripped of their compadre on d4. Plus, black still has plenty of play, as Tal demonstrates. With reduced material he's still Tal!
