Oct-13-07  ounos: I don't understand why black seems to collapse after 31. g4. I understand that this g4, only to find out that
31. ... fxg4
32. hxg4 hxg4
33. Rxg4 Rd7 drops the pawn at c4 (or one of g6/c4 in case of 33. ... g6)
Jan-06-12  Karpova: Mikhail Tal: <My one nought in the table came in my game with Liberzon, when - and this happens to me - in an equal and quiet ending with opposite-coloured bishops I simply lost patience. We were playing in the small room of the Central Chess Club, from where it was easy to go up to the spectators, and Liberzon, after making a move, immediately went over to his family who were in the hall, and began talking in a very lively style with them about something. This suddenly infuriated me, and in quite ridiculous fashion I began playing for a win, which, as is well known, is almost always equivalent to playing for a loss.>

From page 239 of Mikhail Tal 'The Life and Games of Mikhail Tal', 2007, London, England

Jun-05-15  ToTheDeath: A costly mistake for Tal, who finished a point behind the tournament winner Smyslov. Tal got his revenge a year later:
