May-03-05  Hesam7: This game won the first brilliancy prize in Groningen 1946. Nice game by Ludin.
May-03-05  Resignation Trap: A few years later, Lundin defeated Szabo once again at the Interzonal: Szabo vs E R Lundin, 1948 . This loss to the tail-ender Lundin left David Bronstein alone in first place. The Interzonal game was also a precursor to the Benko Gambit.
Feb-03-08  jovack: Awesome game.
Great job on black's behalf of seeing his attack through to the end. One miscalculation and he might as well have resigned.
Sep-26-14  Eduardo Bermudez: "The Refutation Is Refuted" R. Fine

plang: 10..Be7 was new; 10..Nxe4?! had been played once before (it is now known that 11 Qe1 gives White a nice edge.) The modern (and most popular) way of playing the position is 10..g5. 12 Bf2?! responded to the threat of 12..Nxe4 but seems passive; 12 Nf3 is an alternative. 18 f5..d5! 19 exd..e4 would have been powerful for Black.

Very nice game by Lundin.
