Sep-11-07  sanyas: This looks brilliant!
Nov-24-09  ajile: Black does fine after 3..Nf6 though.

Opening Explorer

Nov-24-09  Starf1re: This is an interesting game. After 16)...xd3 I thought that black had a pretty big advantage with the pawn and queen in white's position and up the exchange. At a depth of 12 Rybka 2.2 agreed, evaluating it as -1.1. However, by 20 ply the black advantage had dropped remarkably to 0.0.

This pattern pesists throughout the middle game, with Rybka initially evaluating the position as advantage black, but with the eval dropping with each ply. The critical mistake appears to be 28)...ag8. 28) ...dxc4 evaluates as -.1 advantage to black, but after 28)...ag8 the evaluation is +3.5 for white.

Feb-13-10  alexrawlings: What a game! Maybe a nice monday puzzle before white's final move, or a tuesday or wednesday puzzle with white to move at move 31?
Feb-26-23  tibone: If 31. Rxg7 then 31...Rhh8!
