sachistu: Although some online sources list this game as Dubna 1971, it was actually played in a 14 player international tournament at the Moscow oblast chess club. Shamkovich's notes are in Shakhmatny Moscow, 1971 Issue #8 page 3. The tournament was won by Gavrilov with Shamkovich 2nd, followed by Arnaudov, Titenko, Grabczewski, Zhukhovitsky, Filipowicz, Liberzon, Vladimirov, Estrin, Ozsvath, Lutikov, Obukhovski, and Szliagyi.

I'll submit a correction slip.

sachistu: Well, this is embarrassing! I completely mis-read the results of the Moscow tournament. Lutikov was 1st (9.5) with Shamkovich 2nd (9) and Liberzon 3rd (8.5). The rest of the field in finishing order was Grabczewski, Zhukovitsky, Vladimirov, Gavrilov, Obukhovski, Filipowicz, Estrin, Ozsvath, Arnaudov, Szilagy, and Titenko. Sorry for the previous mis-information.
