Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-21-11  YourNickname: This is the first time that i see that Polugaevsky follow the opening book. That is the reason why i love his playing style.
Feb-21-11  sevenseaman: Polu keeps turning the heat on via moves like 22. Nd6 through 25. Bf4 making Black feel the pressure.

Black was defending ok but his R ambling about on white's base rank was a bit overambitious or aimless. I failed to unscramble the motive behind his 46...Rc1 when practically 'Rome was burning' on his own base rank.

Hereon Polu leaves no room for Zitsev's meandering R and carries out the surgery with terse precision.
