Dec-30-21  Confuse: if you just looked at the end position, you'd think it was your average castling game from white!
Dec-30-21  AlicesKnight: <Brenin> The reference to Kipping is I think to CS Kipping, who was first President of the chess Club, and was one of the most famous chess problemists/composers of his generation (even introducing chess to his school curriculum). Dec-30-21  catlover: I wonder if there is a better way to play black's side of this exchange variation. It looks like by move 8, white has managed to give black a cramped position.
