Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-01-06  prinsallan: Moves 19-23 by white is a very nice sequence.
Forcing a winning exchange and also keeps pressure on the posistion.
May-24-07  prinsallan: Its been more than a year since I last looked at this game. Still feels like white is playing great with the Queen this entire game.

perfidious: A powerful attacking display against an opponent feared for his tactical prowess.

Despite its success in this game, one suspects that 6.Qf3 will not soon be repeated. In many games with 5....gxf6, I'd never seen the move before this game, and have never faced it.

Jul-29-19  paul1959: 6 Qf3 looks like a typo since Black could have taken the d4 pawn without much risk. Qd3 seems more plausible.
May-15-21  SvetlanaBabe: I agree 6.Qf3 must be a typo.

louispaulsen88888888: I disagree. If black grabs the d pawn white gets some initiative
