Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-26-18  Retireborn: 41.Rb1 allows Black to play 41...Qa2 and claim a draw by repetition.

Van Reek suggests that 41.Kh2 instead would have won, giving 41...Rxg3 42.Kxg3 Bxb2 43.Be3.

Houdini rejects 41...Rxg3, preferring 41.Kh2 Rc1 42.b6 Bxb2 43.b7 Rc2+ 44.Bxc2 Qf1! 45.b8Q+ Kh7 46.Bxg6+ Kh6 [46...fxg6 47.Q4b7+ Bg7 is much the same] 47.Qf8+ Bg7 48.Qxg7+ Kxg7 49.Qb2+ Kxg6 50.Qc2+ f5 51.Qg2 Qd3 and with ...Bf3 coming a fairly clear opposite bishop draw is achieved.

It was Nezh who missed a good winning chance with 30...Qa6!
