Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-15-20  Gaito: Some key annotations to this game can be found in Bent Larsen's book "Find the Plan" (Game 44). According to Larsen 30....Bf7? was a bad move. Black should have tried 30...Bxa4, though White still has the better game after 31.Ng4 Rd6 32.Nh6 Bb3 33.Bxa5!. For example: 33....Rc8 (not 33...Nd7? 34.Bc7!) 34.Ra3! Rcc6 35.Rxb3 Nxb3 36.Rg8+ Ke7 37.Rg7+ Kd8 38.Nf7+ Kc8 39.Nxd6+ Rxd6 40.Bc3, and White has an edge. Analysis by the late GM Bent Larsen.
