Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-29-06  Isolani: A great Sicilian miniature in which one can see what happens when black is asleep behind the wheel when white plays a ♗c4 variation. 14...♘c6? allows 15♘d5!. If 15...exd5 16exd5 with threats created against the ♘ on e7. 16♘f5! and 18.♖xe5! were other great moves. Bringing the white knights to d5 or f5 are common tactics for white to look for in these ♗c4 variations. This game had both!
