Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-21-05  Resignation Trap: Black in this game was actually Dr. Gerald Katz of Brookline, Massachusetts.
Nov-21-05  Resignation Trap: A slight amendment to my last post:
Dr. Gerhard S. Katz (Born March 31, 1906 in Berlin-Grunewald, died May 7, 1975 in London, England). a strong American amateur who preferred correspondence games in his later career.

Also, this game was played in preliminary round eight. Kolty's score of 5 was inadequate to qualify him into the 10-player championship finals, so he withdrew from this tournament.
